About Us

RedBench Studio began as a shared photography studio and work space in Barcelona, Spain.  Over time it became our production house, our image, our home and our identity.  An identity that began to have it’s own existence and interaction within each of us.  Now we find ourselves searching for this identity with the desire to share it, as a collective, with the rest of the world.  Even though it’s personal and individual, our collective identity reflects time spent together.  Through periodic publication of new and unedited works, we hope to present a more personal vision of each of us in order to share knowledge, techniques and ideas, but most of all, to create an open space for artistic debate and criticism.

Who We Are

Mark Gregory PetersMark Gregory Peters.  An American photographer based in Barcelona, Spain since 2004 works for an international list of editorial and advertising clients.  He specializes in people, interiors and documentary photography.  As part of RedBench Studio he plans to  share his visual ideas and thoughts in the hopes of receiving constructive criticism and learning from others.  “On the professional scene I miss that daily critical debate from the days at photo school.  I hope to rekindle that experience with all of you, share what I know, and become a better photographer because of it.”

Susana GellidaSusana Gellida.

Francisco GuerreroFrancisco Guerrero.  Francisco Guerrero was born in Manila, Philippines to Spanish-Filipino parents.  After considering becoming a pilot, and being paid to fly, he decided to become a travel photographer and have to pay to fly.  After attending Brooks Institute in sunny California he decided that a little rain would be good and moved to London where he studied at Goldsmiths College. Currently based in Madrid, with grand ambitions of developing clients back home in Asia he is wondering how many air miles he will rack up this year.  His main hope for the RedBench Studio blog is to spare his wife and two young boys the gripes and complaints of your average photographer, instead opting to share his experiences with a broader and unsuspecting audience.  His clients include very few who are not happy,  a few who are very happy and the vast majority who can´t wait to work with him again.
